Reseña del libro

When I first started dating my British man, I never gave a second thought about differences in language and culture. Why would I? After all, we Americans speak English, or do we…? As dating quickly turned into being engaged to, and then getting married to my British gentleman, I also found that our common language and culture was a quirky, eye-opening, and highly amusing roller-coaster ride. At times during the most basic every-day conversations, I’d be listening to his words with glazed eyes, wondering what on earth he was saying. It really was as if we were both speaking a completely different language, even though the words that comprised the language were the same. I very quickly learned so much more about the language I was supposed to have been taught at school, the commonalities, the differences, and the good old-fashioned belly-laughs about it all that still punctuate our married life to this day. With the Anglo-American Royal Marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, I decided to write this essential guide and dedicate it to them, and all transatlantic couples who will regularly find themselves completely divided, and confused, by their common language and culture. 230-250 Pages.
