The installation of a very special factory which uses a new and mysterious gas (ortopedictene), totally transforms the life of a small country when a leak of this fluid provokes a disaster that has considerably significant consequences. Fortunately, the disaster does not provoke personal injury but rather something less usual: a general loss of memory in the inhabitants of the country.
