This book contributes to the understanding of the process of globalisation by focusing on labor and employment issues, covering four countries in South Asia: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It sheds light on the weaknesses which exist in the reform process in the labor market, labor policies and the practice of labor management.
