Trees come in a wide array of leaf shapes, sizes, flower arrangements, growth habits, and so on, but one of the most striking and sought after features is the blue to bluish-gray foliage of the Colorado Blue Spruce. For quite a long time, the most popularly planted evergreen is the Blue. If they were faster growing, more readily available, and reasonably priced, they might well be the most widely planted tree (of all types) nationwide.
