Este libro parte de la pregunta ¿cómo comprender la intencionalidad cuando hablamos de acciones colectivas? Para desarrollar y responder a esta pregunta la autora se centró en las y teorías propuestas por John Searle y Tracy Isaacs a cerca de las intenciones y las acciones colectivas. Se aclara que el interés de la autora no es dar relevancia a uno de ellos por encima del otro, sino abordarlos en un diálogo argumentativo. Con base en ello, llega a la conclusión de que una noción de intencionalidad que permita dar cuenta de acciones colectivas ha de tener esencialmente dos elementos: por un lado, la intencionalidad colectiva (ic) que si bien está en la cabeza de los individuos cuenta con un contenido irreductible a cada uno de ellos y, por otro, deben darse una serie de relaciones efectivas. Abstract This book takes as a starting point the question How to understand intentionality when we speak of collective actions? In an effort to provide an answer, the author has focused on the theories proposed by John Searle and Tracy Isaacs about intentions and collective actions. It should be clarified that the author does not seek to give prevalence to one theory over the other, but to approach both of them in an argumentative dialogue.Based on this, it concludes that a notion of intentionality that allows accounting for collective actions must essentially have two elements: on the one hand, although collective intentionality (ci) exists in the mind of individuals, its content is irreducible to any such individual, and, on the other, there must occur a series of effective relationships.
