The papers trace the crucial paths which lead Kant and Nietzsche in different directions. At the same time they demonstrate the links between them - in the light of the relevant discussions on the range and limits of rationality, on problems of ethics, on aesthetics and on the philosophy of nature and history, discussions on which both philosophers have exerted an important influence.
