The secret life of a leaf is made up of 14 chapters, which describe the biological, chemical and physical processes of the leaves of plants to adapt to their environment. The work begins by contextualizing its object of study from science, and from that it addresses in the following chapters lighting and photosynthesis. Next, it explains the diffusion processes of gases and water inside the leaf, as well as the contact with the air and with different climates from its surface. At the end of the book, the relationship of the phenomena that occurs in the leaf with other areas in the life of the species is emphasized.
