The subject of this work is of great interest for hydrologists and hydrogeologists working on the estimation of the consequences of soil and water pollution. In an appendix the results of the experiments are given in diagrams as a reference for these kinds of measurements. A glossary and an index allow the user to easily become acquainted with the matter.
