A sociological study of the organizations and actors engaged in the production, implementation, and application of information technology (IT) in Denmark. Considers the prevailing norms, symbols, and beliefs that make up the information-technology culture; actors, networks and organizations at the edge of the field, and the role of mediators in disseminating IT; and the strategies, skills, and careers of the people involved.
