This is the second book in the children's chapter book series, "Strawberry Rose", for ages 9-12, based on the author's summers spent at the lake with her grandparents as a child. Rose is ten years old-almost eleven-when she spends another summer at her grandparents' lakeshore cabin. Along with their cherished dog, Goose, Rose spends time with her cousin, Jimmy, and reconnects with her lake friend, Trudy. They go swimming, huckleberry picking, and enjoy time together.
