Reseña del libro

Have you ever heard about hydroponic gardening? Growing your own organic vegetables at home needn't be difficult. It is something that you can do very simply; even a few pots of herbs on a sunny windowsill is a wonderful start. And while it might be difficult to grow all of your vegetables, you would be surprised by how much you can grow even with limited time and space! Hydroponic gardening is a way to grow plants in water instead of soil, as is traditionally done. Everyone knows that the prefix "Hydro" refers to water. "Ponics" is a less modern Greek word meaning "work" or "labor." That makes "Hydroponic" a word that means "Water that does the work" sometimes translated as "Working water." This refers to the fact that water is used instead of soil. It is not mandatory for you to be a farmer to begin your own hydroponic garden. Nor do you need acres of land. You only need willingness to learn different ways of cultivating plants. Hydroponics has been around for at least 500 years. This method of farming can be used both indoors and outside. You just require basic understanding of how to set up your hydroponics growing system(s), and you're off! What you are about to create with the help of this hydroponic book is a method of growing fruits, vegetables, and herbs at the comfort of your home without the use of soil. The roots will rely on a nutritionally enriched liquid. They are nourished in water supplemented with liquid nutrients. You can use mediums, such as perlite and vermiculite, or even rockwool and clay pellets, but more on that later.
