Written in 1883 and translated into Spanish by Manuel Caballero in 1886, "Treasure Island" is Robert Louis Stevenson's best-known work (he also wrote "Kidnapped" and "Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde"). This edition has been made available so that English speakers learning Spanish, or Spanish speakers learning English, can enjoy the learning experience by comparing the two languages, which alternate with each paragraph (a paragraph of the original English is followed by the corresponding Spanish translation).
