In not too many years into the future, the worst war the world had ever known had broken out! And as it raged across the whole planet, such was its fury, that it seemed to be far more than just another conflict. But this war was unlike anything that had happened before, as a monstrously evil leader, was determined to succeed where others before him had failed. This meant the good side had to win come what may, but there was a sting in the tail which nobody expected. And A Totally Unnecessary War is how that came about!
