He tries to escape, but changes his mind after he meets a friendly black cat named T-bone, who talks him out of running away.With time he gets used to his new neighborhood, and becomes best friend with T-bone. He also survives a vicious cat fight with Dingy Cat (the menace of the neighborhood), gets smitten by Daisy (a young girl cat living next door), and becomes friends with the other cats. There are many other exciting events happening in his life during this one year period.
