The choice of narratives for this book is based on the ongoing discussion about the value of historical narratives that deal with Germany under the Nazi dictatorship. Indeed, this study wishes to contribute to the project of establishing several canonical narratives that should be studied to gain an in-depth understanding of the mechanism and features of totalitarian systems.
