The Queen of Gorgos is the third book in the Javik series and continues the parallel stories of Javik and Allana. Javik returns from the mountain fortress to find a plague has struck his village. Polla, Goldar's wife, and many others are victims of the plague, but his son, Garen, survives. Javik has no idea what's happened to Allana. Allana receives a visitor from Grogos. He informs her of the desperate conditions on the island. Allana sets out on her own adventure. Allana is determined to bring Gorgos back its honor and glory. Javik is brooding over his loss when Margan tells him Allanas was captured by a bandit king in a country far away. Javik gathers his friends in a quest to free her and they set off for the bandit king's territory. Javik gathers other allies looking for adventure along the way. The group manages to locate Allana, and a battle ensues. Javik set off for Gorgos only to find the island is only a shell of its former self. The story continues in book four, The Wallan Prince.
