Andrés Neuman es un escritor, poeta y traductor nacido el 28 de enero de 1977 en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Hijo de músicos, se trasladó con su familia a Granada, España, durante su adolescencia, ciudad donde ha desarrollado gran parte de su vida y carrera literaria.

Estudió Filología Hispánica en la Universidad de Granada y desde muy joven destacó en el ámbito literario. Con solo 22 años fue finalista del Premio Herralde de Novela con su obra Bariloche, lo que marcó el inicio de su reconocimiento internacional.

Su producción literaria es amplia y diversa, abarcando novela, cuento, poesía, ensayo y traducción. Entre sus obras más destacadas se encuentran El viajero del siglo, novela con la que ganó el Premio Alfaguara en 2009, Hablar solos y Fractura. En sus textos explora temas como la identidad, el lenguaje, el viaje, la memoria y las relaciones humanas, con un estilo cuidado y reflexivo.

Además de su labor como narrador, Neuman es un reconocido poeta y ha traducido obras de autores como William Shakespeare. También escribe columnas y participa activamente en el debate cultural contemporáneo.

Considerado una de las voces más importantes de la literatura en español actual, su obra ha sido traducida a numerosos idiomas y ha recibido múltiples premios internacionales.
