Jandy Nelson (Nueva York, 1965) es una reconocida autora estadounidense de literatura juvenil. Antes de dedicarse a la escritura, trabajó como agente literaria durante 13 años. Es licenciada por la Universidad de Cornell y posee varios títulos de Maestría en Bellas Artes, incluyendo uno en Literatura Infantil y Juvenil por el Vermont College of Fine Arts.

Su primera novela, El cielo está en cualquier lugar (2010), fue bien recibida por la crítica y adaptada al cine en 2022. Su segunda obra, Te daría el mundo (2014), ganó el Premio Michael L. Printz y el Josette Frank Award, y fue finalista del California Book Award .
