My 4 year old grandson is thrilled with the cat in the hat Dictionary book. Over the years my grandchildren get many presents on their birthday, and just a month later they get heaps of Christmas presents. As this sort of eliminates my presents I have decided to do it another way this year. I take care of my grandson one or two days a week so I am taking my grandson's birthday present with me and I read to him from it. Last Friday was the beginning of this arrangement. Although I suggested doing other things he just wanted to keep getting back to his new book, it really stimulates him. I have not even shown it to his big sister yet because she will want to take it over because she can actually read some words already, but after his birthday the book will live at his house and his big sister can read it to him. The book looked absolutely brand new, I know my son would not have allowed a second hand book to be given to his child so I was very pleased that a new book was available. The price was very reasonable for such an excellent quality book, and I do not remember being as pleased as I am with any other purchase on line. Thank you very much.
