D. A. Carson (Montreal, 1946) es un destacado teólogo evangélico y profesor de Nuevo Testamento en Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Illinois. Doctor en Filosofía por la Universidad de Cambridge, ha sido pastor y conferencista internacional. Es autor y coautor de más de cincuenta libros sobre estudios bíblicos y teología.

Entre sus obras más reconocidas se encuentran Una introducción al Nuevo Testamento (2009), escrita junto a Douglas J. Moo , y la Biblia de Estudio Teología Bíblica (2019), de la que fue editor general . Su enfoque combina el rigor académico con una profunda comprensión teológica, siendo una figura influyente en la teología evangélica contemporánea.
