Cloud computing applications are growing exponentially because of the increase in demand. Cloud is a complex distributed system in which hundreds of components interact with each other. An important risk is cloud computing platform is to provide a secure computing platform to the cloud users. Trusted third party based scheme used in traditional security systems cannot be used directly in cloud platforms. Swarm based trust verification scheme enables security in cloud platform. Cloud computing offers different sets of services to the users and gaining popularity in recent years because of its ease of use. Dynamically configurable virtualized resources make the physical location of the data independent from its representation and the users have no control over the physical placement of data. Providing flexible computing services via internet pose high security challenge to the cloud users. Because of these security risks making the cloud computing environment trustable is the need of the hour.
