Richard Rohr es un fraile franciscano, teólogo y autor estadounidense nacido en 1943 en Kansas, Estados Unidos. Fue ordenado sacerdote en 1970 y es reconocido por su trabajo en espiritualidad cristiana, misticismo y desarrollo personal desde una perspectiva integradora y contemplativa. En 1987 fundó el Center for Action and Contemplation (Centro de Acción y Contemplación) en Albuquerque, Nuevo México, con el propósito de enseñar prácticas espirituales que unifican la vida interior con el compromiso social.
Rohr ha escrito extensamente sobre temas como el ego, el alma, el amor, el perdón y la madurez espiritual. Entre sus obras más conocidas se encuentran Todo se sostiene, El alma desnuda, y El hombre en busca de sentido (colectivo con Viktor Frankl).
