At the age of 62, TSB suffered a lifechanging sporting accident which turned him into a quadriplegic but, thankfully, not a cabbage. With his brain working overtime to compensate for an immobile body, he convinced himself that it was "Mind over Matter" and that he would get over his paralysis despite a less than positive prognosis by his doctors. Every chapter is a new story with all sorts of memory jerkers and mind links to music, movies, TV shows, cars, books and anything else that caused a blip in his brain. He has stories about work, his wife, kids, friends, flashbacks to younger days, life, the universe and (almost) everything. He does also (sometimes) talk about what he did every day for 5 years to get back on his feet again. He is not, repeat NOT, disabled. He is "Temporarily Unable" to do some things. But that has not stopped him from trying.
