The 9th Hamburg Photography Triennial 2026, titled Alliance, Infinity, Love - in the Face of the Other, aims to highlight a broad spectrum of photographic voices - established and emerging, celebrated and overlooked - and to celebrate photography's potential to articulate and evoke emotions, challenge norms, and make visible what often remains hidden. The photographic image becomes, in this way, a space for encounter and critical reflection. The twelve publications contained in this box, accordingly, embody a multilayered perspective of photography, while exploring the potential of printed formats to convey visual meaning in not so conventional ways.
