It has survived him learning things about her she does not tell anyone, and her letting him.

The sex is still ruinous. The domesticity is still accidental. The friendship is still the most honest thing in both of their lives.

She has his key. He has her trust. They grocery shop together on weekends and argue about movies on weeknights and neither of them has slept with anyone else since October, but nobody is counting because counting would imply something that does not apply here.

Nolan would like to point out that none of this is new information. Ren would like to point out that everyone can mind their business.
