Reseña del libro "Another Beginning (en Inglés)"

The adventures continue in this third volume of "The Journey Home." Candy never envisioned her life turning out this way. If someone had told her she would end up in another universe fighting machines and falling in love with her ex-husband's brother, she would have told them they were insane and sent them on their way. But they would have been right. Despite her history that led her to her cynical views towards relationships and men, she had fallen in love with Alec. The question was, could they make the relationship last? Could she make it last? There were too many factors in play that could influence a disastrous end to yet another relationship. Being pregnant with her ex-husband's baby was only a minor issue. Which, in anyone else's life, that would have posed a major issue, but it wasn't in her life. She had substantially more major issues than the average person. She had the entire planetary population of Bahlia practically worshipping her as their goddess, The Blue Woman. She only qualified for this 'honor' because she was the sole survivor from Earth; Earth, the mystical world where the Bahlians believed their deliverer of The Sons of Caldon would herald from. She was very suspicious about their intentions and planned to keep as far as possible away from the Bahlians. Then there was the issue with her fighter. Why did she feel things from her fighter? Why did what she felt come to pass? This greatly unnerved her. She didn't understand it and she couldn't explain it. She was growing leery of it and fearful. If she was reacting this way to the issues in her life, there was no way anyone else would react differently. By that, she meant they would stay as far away from her as possible. Hell, she wouldn't blame them! She would probably react the same way, which is why she never told anyone. That's not exactly true. She had told Alec and Alec didn't run away from her. Was it possible she misjudge men in general? Or was Alec the only exception? Maybe she could figure that out and figure her life out while she was flying in battle against the Meathos. Vaporizing things and blowing things up always calmed her raging thoughts and emotions.
