It should be noted that society and the school system are constantly evolving. Efficient learning and gaining experience are becoming increasingly important. In order to meet these requirements, this paper focuses on interdisciplinary teaching in the subjects of art and textile design. Research findings show that this teaching method has a positive effect on pupils' learning behaviour. Artistic activity is always linked to personal expression and individual interests. This also applies to the youngest members of our society. Accordingly, learners in artistic and creative subjects try to incorporate their own interests, opinions and needs. Pupils should be given the opportunity to do so in order to be encouraged and strengthened in their actions and activities.
