Reseña del libro "Australia in Vista: One Unforgettable Summer"

***This short story is a work of biofiction, meaning that while the story is fictionalized, certain elements are inspired by events and experiences from the author’s early life in Vista, California.*** Australia in Vista: One Unforgettable Summer follows thirteen-year-old Clinton during the summer of 1997, when his family welcomes Liam, a charismatic seventeen-year-old Australian foreign exchange student, into their home. Through Liam's stories of Australia, his passion for live theater, and his easy confidence, Clinton begins to see the world—and his own future—in a new way. When Clinton and his family watch Liam perform beneath the lights of Vista's Moonlight Amphitheatre, the summer reaches its emotional peak. Soon afterward, Liam returns to Australia, leaving Clinton with no way of knowing whether they will ever meet again. What remains is a bittersweet memory of a brief friendship and the first realization that some people can profoundly influence us even when they are only passing through our lives.
