Reseña del libro "Battery (en Inglés)"

Electricity is the central metaphor and expressive image in this unusual love story which takes place in an electrical repair shop. "It's fun to listen to BATTERY. Daniel Therriault's dialogue is a ripe blend of primitive slang and advanced metaphor, dotted with enough comedy to ward off weariness and pretense. The entertainment value never flags." -Don Shirley, Los Angeles Times "Daniel Therriault's first play, BATTERY, is one of those rare efforts by a young writer which reminds you of why you keep going to new plays. Sometimes you actually run across a writer of talent with a play which makes you care about the characters from the opening lines right through to the final blackout. BATTERY is one of those plays. The controlling electrical metaphor proves an expressive image for the sparks Therriault's flashing, punning pen ignites. BATTERY pleases exceptionally." -Tish Dace, Other Stages
