Reseña del libro "Bloodline (en Inglés)"
A boy with no past. A body that refuses to die. A history that has been waiting centuries for him to remember. When Kai wakes on a rain-soaked roadside after being struck by a moving truck, he remembers only one thing: his name. He has no family, no history, and no explanation for why injuries that should have killed him disappear within minutes. The scars covering his body suggest a lifetime of violence, while his impossible strength, reflexes, knowledge, and combat instincts raise an even more unsettling question-how much of that lifetime has he forgotten?Taken in by the Callahan family, Kai is given something he cannot remember ever having: a home. Between school, new friendships, and the unexpected bond forming with his foster siblings, Noah and Lily, he begins to imagine that an ordinary life might still be possible. But ordinary does not last.As violent crime spreads through the surrounding town and fragments of ancient battlefields begin surfacing in Kai's memory, the abilities he has tried to hide force him into the role of protector. His search for answers soon uncovers a secret world of immortals, experiments, old enemies, and legends that may contain far more truth than history ever recorded. The deeper Kai digs into his forgotten past, the more dangerous his present becomes-and the people who finally gave him a family may become the greatest weakness his enemies can exploit.Blending urban fantasy, supernatural thriller, superhero fiction, vampire mythology, historical mystery, and action adventure, Bloodline is a story about found family, immortality, identity, sacrifice, and the choice to use extraordinary power with mercy.Kai may not remember the man he used to be. But when darkness comes for the people he loves, he must decide what kind of man-and what kind of hero-he intends to become. Read more
