Ed Brubaker (Bethesda, Maryland, 1966) es un guionista y novelista gráfico estadounidense, reconocido por revitalizar el cómic de género negro y por su enfoque maduro en historias de superhéroes. Comenzó su carrera con la serie semi-autobiográfica Lowlife y alcanzó notoriedad en DC Comics con títulos como Batman, Catwoman y Gotham Central. En Marvel, su etapa en Capitán América (2004–2012) es especialmente célebre por introducir al Soldado de Invierno, redefiniendo al personaje de Bucky Barnes.

Su colaboración con el dibujante Sean Phillips ha dado lugar a obras destacadas como Criminal (2006–presente), Fatale (2012–2014), The Fade Out (2014–2016) y la serie de novelas gráficas Reckless (2020–presente). Estas obras, publicadas por Image Comics, han sido aclamadas por su narrativa intensa y estilo noir. Excelente historia, es Ed Brubaker. Sobre la edición: como saben es una edición económica, asi que han usado papel mate y reducido el tamaño. Teniendo en cuenta eso, no esta nada mal, incluso es un poco más grande que las ediciones económicas de DC. El único "pero" sería en cuanto al "color" negro. Al ser papel mate, no se aprecia un buen contraste como en las ediciones Paperback o Deluxe, pero se podría mejorar dependiendo la condición de luz que tengas al momento. Hay que tener en cuenta que en esta historia el arte es bastante oscuro, se usa mucho negro, por lo tanto se acentúa ese problema. Recomendaría comprarla en otra edición, pero solo esta, las otras, como Spiderman, se ven muy bien.
