Aswath Damodaran (Chennai, India, 1957) es profesor en la Escuela de Negocios Leonard N. Stern de la Universidad de Nueva York, donde imparte cursos de finanzas corporativas y valoración de empresas en el programa de MBA. Ha recibido numerosos premios por su destacada labor docente y en 1994 la revista BusinessWeek lo consideró uno de los mejores profesores de escuelas de negocios del país. Ha escrito o coeditado numerosos libros, cuyos temas abarcan, entre otros, la valoración de empresas, la gestión de inversiones o la gestión de carteras.
