Ethics in Public Policy: The Case of East Asia (en Inglés) - Kai Xiang Kwa

This book looks at how ethical principles or concepts enrich our understanding of the constitutions of effective public policy design and implementation in East Asia.

Adopting a case study methodological approach, the chapters focus on selected policy cases from the geographical regions of East Asia (i.e. Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia). Through examining the contextual overview of public policies in these regions, the book advances the ethical perspectives on effective, ineffective and failing public polices in the above-defined East Asian geographical regions. The book thus proposes an ethical critique of these cases, from which new insights and lessons emerge.
