The purpose of this book is to illustrate the use of photographs of school artifacts found in classrooms, hallways and school grounds to expose the teachings of the K-12 hidden curriculum regarding diversity. The photograph on the front cover is the first school artifact encountered by students - a street sign announcing the school crossing up ahead.
