This honest and difficult real life transition story explains the reality of how hard it can be to leave the military. I hope by sharing my own family's transition experience, and many missteps along the way, our story will be able to shed some light on the four steps to a successful transition for all service connected military families. Transitioning out of the military is hard, and being prepared is the key to success while reintegrating into a civilian lifestyle. Sometimes we just need help; we need someone to care.
