"The work of Vicente Freitas, entitled "Fernando Pessoa: fragments of an autobiography" brings in its pages a well-founded critical reflection, through which we enter the universe of the subjectivity of the author of the Book of Restlessness. The approach to the work is through a textual examination in which the Brazilian writer presents and explains the various forms and authors to whom the Book of Restlessness is also attributed. Vicente Guedes, Barão de Teive and Bernardo Soares are listed as the restless possible authors of the intimate diaries that constitute the sparse notes of the Book. Thus, the reader immediately realizes that he is faced with a dense and complex work, produced with the personal style and careful research that characterize the texts of Vicente Freitas.
