Reseña del libro "Fifty Years Among Shorthorns: Including Notable Sires of Shorthorn Cattle (en Inglés)"

This special re-print edition of Robert Bruce's "Fifty Years Among Shorthorns" is considered one of the most important works ever published on Shorthorn cattle. First published in 1907, this important work on cattle, has not seen the light of day since its early publication. Included are important, now hard to find details on the history of Shorthorn Cattle, including their most notable sires. Chapters include The Bates Cattle, The Booth Cattle, The Cruickshank Cattle, Descriptions of Many Notable Shorthorn Sires, Sittyton Familes In The Herd At The Time It Was Sold, Notes Regarding Sittyton Sires, The Late Mr. Amos Cruickshank - His Work As a Breeder, General Management At Sittyton, Beef and Milk, Flesh and Fat, Pedigree and more. Absolutely one of the best books on Shorthorn Cattle. Note: This edition is a perfect facsimile of the original edition and is not set in a modern typeface. As a result, some type characters and images might suffer from slight imperfections or minor shadows in the page background.
