Paul Ricoeur (Valence, Francia, 1913 – Châtenay-Malabry, 2005) fue un filósofo francés reconocido por su enfoque fenomenológico-hermenéutico, que integró corrientes como el existencialismo, el psicoanálisis y la filosofía analítica. Desarrolló su carrera académica en instituciones como las universidades de Estrasburgo, la Sorbona, Nanterre y Chicago.
