Reseña del libro "Gender Parity in Education and Employment Measured in 193 Nations. (en Inglés)"

Gender bias is an issue that faces all females in every nation throughout the world. Despite important advances in societies in relation to female rights, gender parity has not been reached worldwide, and the gender biases that persist throughout the world negatively impact females' rights to education and employment, which have disallowed them to achieve empowerment and equity similar to males within societies. Females have been historically discriminated toward in all countries in relation to education and employment opportunities, and these inequities are evident in both developed and developing countries today. There are, however, historical and contemporary gains that have been made toward equitable opportunities for females in most nations throughout the world, but gender gaps still exist in many nations throughout the world in relation to education and employment. In many nations, female education does not lead to improved employment opportunities, participation in the political process, and legal rights. The hypothesis that gender gaps have narrowed in relation to primary school completion rates, lower secondary school completion rates, upper secondary school completion rates, and employment to population ratios of 193 nations in the world was found to be true. Gender gaps, however, are still present in all nations today at many levels, especially in developing countries. This study shows that progress has been made toward gender parity throughout the world, but it has not been fully achieved yet.
