About the AuthorAfter 20 years as a podiatrist in Florida, Murphy Hanley walked away from a busy practice to answer the call that had been placed on his life as a teenager. A medical career was his choice, not God's. Today he is answering God's call and following after Him with a sold out passion for Him and His people.Murphy now serves as the Care Pastor for Winter Haven Worship Center, in Winter Haven Florida, under the direction of Pastor Jeff Connor. The biblical principles put forth in "Healing Belongs to You" are a part of his daily ministry, as he applies them to those he serves in the church and in his own life as well.Murphy also serves as the chaplain for the Winter Haven Fire Department and Polk County Fire Rescue, Battalion 2. His duties involve ministering to the first responders within these departments as well as families of those affected by fires, accidents, or deaths in the communities these departments serve.He and his wife Glenda enjoy spending time with their six grandchildren.
