The first part of the fourth catalogue volume of the manuscripts of the Abbey Library of Klosterneuburg contains 67 scholarly descriptions of medieval codices from the signature group of Cod. 301 to 400. The manuscripts catalogued in the volume date from the end of the 12th to the end of the 15th century, with a focus on the period around 1400. Both the theology of the early and high scholastic period and late scholastic texts of the so-called Vienna School of Theology and numerous collections of sermons are represented. The majority are paper manuscripts that reflect the usual picture of composite theological manuscripts of the time that were produced in Klosterneuburg, Vienna or in the Lower Austrian region.
