Reseña del libro "Once Saved, Always Saved (en Inglés)"

You were told the matter was settled. Was it?A man prayed a prayer at nineteen and can still tell you the date. He has not opened a Bible in eleven years, and nobody who loves him has ever suggested he make sure. A woman who has taught in the same church for thirty years lies awake over a verse she wishes she had never read, and every time she asks about it she is told kindly not to worry, which has never once worked. They were taught the same four words. Once saved, always saved. It did opposite damage to each of them. This book reads the Bible's warnings and the Bible's promises in the same breath, all the way to the end of their arguments, including the verses that usually get left out. It takes the strongest passages on the other side, John 10, Romans 8, Ephesians 1, Philippians 1, 1 John, at full strength, and grants everything they establish before asking what they are actually about. It answers the sentence "they were never really saved" from the very texts used to support it. And it arrives at what Scripture teaches about eternal security, which is more secure than the slogan and more honest than the fear. The whole of it comes to two sentences that have to be held together. God will not lose you. You can walk away.Written entirely from the King James Version, with every passage quoted in full, this is a book for the believer who has started to notice verses that do not fit what he was taught, for the one who is afraid it is already too late, for the one resting on a prayer while living as he pleases, and for anyone who wants to know his Bible better than the argument around it. Short enough to hand to one person who needs one chapter. Careful enough to trust when the comfort comes.Includes a one-page Short Answer, a passage quick reference, ten common objections answered, and a closing invitation for the reader who wants to come home.
