Created by Algonquin mother, storyteller, jingle dress dancer, and healing activist Tessa Belanger of the Kitigan Zibi reserve, this book amplifies Indigenous voices through lived experience, cultural memory, and creative expression. Inspired by her own journey and the challenges she has faced as an Indigenous woman, Tessa weaves together storytelling, art, and ceremony to bridge generations and create space for healing.

Within these pages, contributors share deeply personal stories of survival, intergenerational trauma, resilience, and reclamation. Each voice is honored. Each story is held with care. Pass the Sage invites readers to witness Indigenous people fully-acknowledging pain while celebrating strength, creativity, and identity.
