This is a book of sea stories, tales from my Navy days. But it's not just for sailors. It touches on matters important to us all, matters such as leadership, morale, authority, rules and regulations, change, conflict, discrimination, innovation and performance. The moral or point of some of these stories is obvious; the point of others is not so obvious. Some stories are humorous; a couple are grim; one saddens me still; and I am sure some people will find one of them a bit disgusting. All are based on real people and real events. In some of them I changed the names of one or more people to spare them embarrassment; in others I simply use titles or rank. A few are liberally laced with profanity but most of them are not. These tales from my Navy days are meant to be educational as well as entertaining. I learned much from the events involved and I hope you do, too.
