This book contains all the songs from the music CD sold separately along with recitals and songs not ever recorded in audio. 23 complete songs, all new from the author of 3 song/poem books since 1972.Although not all these songs relate specifically to Joe's forest garden in South Carolina, they have been conceived while working that garden. Some do, of course, like Sleeping Deer; while songs like Long Island Cowboy surely cannot. Long Island Cowboy brings to mind Joe's brother-in-law who sings his way in country bars across Long Island, New York. This song as well as 1,000 Year Deluge and Goody Gotti O were nominated for awards at the 2016 IMC Music awards at the Grammy Theater in LA.Akin to all of Joe's works expect insights to be emotional with unexpected twists and turns.
