Reseña del libro "The African boy Legend and the American Girl Superstar: Adventure, Dreams and Sports in the Rip-Roaring 2020S (en Inglés)"

Action, drama, and romance fill this fast paced novel set in the year 2025, in the middle of the fantastic, super high-tech, fabulous decade in the future known as the rip-roaring 2020s. A young African boy, named Africus, with a legendary childhood, and a young American girl, Savannah Stewart, the beautiful daughter of a media mogul father and socialite mother, and a superstar athlete and lacrosse player, take a long journey to find each other after a chance meeting in the African savannah. College football has entered a new era, with a conference realignment and a new dramatic tournament format, and tremendous advances in media technology to follow the games. Women's college lacrosse has emerged as one of the preeminent college women's sports. The Nebraska State women's lacrosse team and football teams are both expected to contend for conference titles and potentially national championships. Both teams are one key player short for a serious title run. The savvy Nebraska State administrator, Shannon Garrison, goes on a worldwide hunt for the two key players, Africus and Savannah, while the dean of E-news, Gavin Blocker, watches her every step. On their journey, Africus and Savannah march across continents and into dream worlds, parallel universes and magical places, and become entangled in an international hunt for the Treasures locked away in the legendary Cavern of Lost Treasures. The English Crown, through its King and its Princess Anne, and a supra-national secret society, join the hunt, as legendary English Treasures and historical ramifications, including the finding of artifacts tied to King Arthur, are at stake. The journey accelerates to a climactic finish with championship games, magical sojourns, and discoveries of legends and Treasures.
