Reseña del libro "The Day of Yahweh: Part of a Dissertation Submitted to the Faculty of the Graduate Divinity School, in Candidacy for the Degree of Doctor (en Inglés)"

Several prophets such as Amos, Ezekiel, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Isaiah and Malachi all loudly proclaimed and foretold "The Day of Yahweh."While Amos and Ezekiel foretold it as the day when Yahweh would bring judgement against sinful Israel.Isaiah foretold a different outcome. Where; "manifestation of the wrath of Yahweh will be wrath against the nations but will result for Israel in deliverance from captivity."All of these prophecies from each of these prophets came at different times and events in the Bible. Their prophecies often aligned with Israel's political, social or religious circumstances. So, what do these prophecies mean for our present day? Were they meant for just the Israelites? Do they have any bearing or connection on the now as they did then?As a Christian, you have no doubt wondered about the day and coming of the Lord. Well, John P. M. Smith points out that;"The great growth of the idea of God out of which the Day of Yahweh grew ... affected the teachings of that day tremendously."With this book, find out what these teachings and prophecies mean for our time.
