In the orphanage she meets another young girl Rosa and for twelve long years Rosa and Layla endure the discrimination from the orphanage nuns until One fateful night, they run away and board a ship bound for Persia. When they arrive in the city of Shiraz, Layla uncovers the truth that will change everything. She is no orphan. She is the lost princess of a distant Persian kingdom one torn apart by the loss of her mother and her disappearance.
