Daniel Keyes (1927-2014) fue un escritor estadounidense reconocido por su trabajo en la ciencia ficción y la literatura psicológica. Su obra más célebre es Flores para Algernon (1966), una novela que originalmente nació como un cuento en 1959 y que le valió el prestigioso Premio Nebula.
