Reseña del libro "The Hall of Mirrors: Reflections on the CPE Experience (en Inglés)"

Are you curious about Clinical Pastoral Education? Perhaps you need to take a unit of CPE as part of your seminary education. Or maybe you have this whisper inside your heart, calling you to be a companion of people. This book, The Hall of Mirrors: Reflections on the CPE Experience, gives a revealing glimpse into what it looks like to be guided by Spirit while being present for people in times of transition. CPE challenges would-be chaplains to integrate gifts, heal psychological and spiritual wounds, and take complete responsibility for self, while growing into personal and spiritual authority. What does it mean to bring your authentic and powerful self into service while navigating the twists and turns of patient care, peer drama, and personal life? How will your personal experience of organized religion color your ministry to others? Do you have the courage to be both strong and vulnerable at the same time? Based on detailed journal accounts written through four units of Clinical Pastoral Education, and recounted through the eyes of an Interfaith chaplain and healer, The Hall of Mirrors will have you questioning, reflecting, shaking your head, and relating, all the way through. This book offers many topics and discussion points that make it an excellent tool in the formation of chaplain identity.
